Preparing the observatory: the 7x3m platform
Before assembling the observatory, I had a 7x3m platform built by a local company. It took 7 days... and on the last day, "let there be light"! :-)

Some technical aspects:
-I have one 90mm tube (for low intensity signals; several level 6 or 7 ethernet cables inserted in advance) & on 63mm tube (for 220V; two 2.5mm cables but only one used normally) going under the concrete/path in the house.
-I have the same tube but about 5m long running under the concrete with similar initial setup.
-The platform is on solid ground (and a very big rock!); material has been removed only.
-a water drain has been implemented on one side.
-The platform is leveled (critical for the dome).
-A pilar 1mx1m (maybe too large, 75x75cm would have been enough), 1 meter deep, is separated from the platform using foam boards.
